The Head of the Medusa — Chapter 6: From the status of men to the status of
women
Danae and Perseus drifted to the island of
Seriphos where Polydectes was king. Perseus
grew up and became a strong, golden haired
young man. Polydectes heard about the
beautiful Danae and asked her to marry him,
but she rejected him. Polydectes would have
taken Danae by force, but Perseus was there
to protect her.
Human beings are far from perfect. So often it seems that the history of the human race is
a long catalogue of destruction, but there is also progress. Although men and women
have shared in both, it has been men, especially young men, who have been the victims
of the destruction. The role of men has always been to defend, provide and protect
women. The very word ‘husband’ means this. Though the average man or woman alive
today will have a longer life and be healthier and wealthier than his or her predecessors,
it is obviously apparent that women especially have a better deal than ever before and
they have infinitely more opportunities.

The feminazis paint an altogether different picture. Things are apparently so bad for
women that the United Nations has been spending billions of dollars and has spewed
forth a constant stream of pro-wimmin treaties. These treaties or Conventions are legally
binding by the countries that recognise them. They include:
The Convention on the Political Rights of Women (1952)

The Convention on Recovery Abroad of Maintenance (1956)
The Convention on the Nationality of Married Women (1957)
The Convention on the Consent to Marriage (1962)
The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (1979)

The UN hailed 1975 as International Women's Year and held the first world conference on
women in Mexico City. The next was held in Copenhagen (1980) and then Nairobi
(1985). The Fourth World Conference on Women was held in Beijing, China (a country
not renowned for its human rights or its attitudes to women) in September 1995. The
United Nations spent $2.5 million to sponsoring the conference and $1.8 million for
conference services as well as $700,000 for public information. China incurred additional
expenses as the host nation. It took 12 days half- for the 4,969 delegates representing
189 countries to hammer out the Beijing Platform for Action The resulting legislation,
presented as a great step forward for humanity, has cost us and will cost us, millions of
lives.

When the UN was formally established in October 1945 the member nations agreed - "in
fundamental human rights; in the dignity and worth of the human person; in the equal
rights of men and women and of nations large and small...." But since then, the
organisation that was set up to secure world peace has been pretty ineffective at
stopping thousands of wars. It has been very successful however at assisting the new
Nazis with the biggest war in history – the war between men and women. The United
Nations seems to hold every nation in its thrall, when it comes to the rigid application of
its women’s rights programmes. The "equal rights of men and women" have given way to
an exclusive preoccupation with women's rights, which are deemed ‘different’ somehow.
On the face of it, this all seems very commendable to the man or woman in the street, but
just as in our own individual societies; the middle class political activists have been
carving an even more powerful niche for themselves. The statement that ‘Women’s rights
are human rights’ is very different from the concept that men and women have equal
human rights. As in their individual countries, the radical feminist gender warriors are
thick on the ground where the money is, and there is plenty to be had at the UN.

In Beijing, the UN and its Member States made commitments to "accord greater priority
to the recruitment and promotion of women at the professional level to achieve gender
balance, particularly at decision-making levels". These new reforms present
opportunities for qualified and experienced women to be considered for the new position
of Deputy secretary-general and for the newly planned cabinet. All very commendable
and altruistic on the face of it. What could be better than to have men and women sharing
these duties and responsibilities? The most eminently qualified people must, of course,
make decisions and policies that affect the whole human race and the planet itself. Our
survival depends on their skills and judgements. A responsible organisation such as the
United Nations would not allow itself to be biased, infiltrated and taken over by an
unelected group of non-representative fanatics, would it? Surely, no one with an ounce of
common sense would believe the perverted ravings of the gender terrorist feminazis, let
alone allow them access to such power, would they? You bet they would. You bet they
have.
